This is seriously the most emotional chapter ever. I literally stop in the middle and calming my heart first before resuming to read. Really good pieces of art. Please update soon, i'm dying to know. And gosh, if he really abdicated, i thought Consort Ling may left him (because she need to resume her journey to find the spirit people and he won't give much assistance). GOD NO, Don't let that happen plz.

I guess the emperor will not really give up his throne? I mean, how else is Ling supposed to become queen X'D It's kind of sweet how he'd be willing to give up his throne for her though; but then again, he's a scheming monarch... I wonder how many of his words and actions can be trusted X'D

I honestly think this can be turned into another branch series about the villainess. Although everyone freakn hates her, I think she can be easily misunderstood... Even if it meant killing another. I mean there is no justification to what she did, I feel that when redoing her life she can change like how she realized she never won in the first place when she died.

The Emperor is playing the long game, and the Dowanger is too greedy to see it. The bitch is old, and will pass while the Emperor is young. As for Ling she is greedy too but doesn't truly have a plan.
