I'm not the only one witness to the slow decline of scanlation over the past decade but it's been the fastest over the last 5. Back then almost everyone was doing it for the love of the game but now thats becoming the minority.

Amazing chapter title, it's so fitting. I love how it doesn't say this is better or worse. It just is. People are different and will want different things.

Thank you for the translation! And yeah, I can get the frustration at the scanslation groups just defaulting to AI translation nowadays. Even back when I would try to scanslate chapters by MTL, it was often because I wanted someone with actual Japanese experience to pick it up.

With that and sniping, it feels like scanslation has become less about actually producing good translations and instead going after the most popular things so that scanslators can plug their own websites or patreons or whatever other money-makers have you. It sucks.

The lack of self-awareness of the girls about how they're treating Miki isn't surprising, independently of what Minato says (which can end up being a helpful thing), I'm sure it's a situation where they can all talk it out. After all, Miki has learned to read the room, and what's been stressing her so much is that she's tuned that up far too much for far too long, and I'm sure the girls will still like her even if she lets some of her awkwardness and tomboyness shy through, I'd say they'd like her even more for it. (I hope I'm not wrong :worry:)

Also, the environment of competitive sports is very different from just your classroom and friends, and Miki's not in a situation where she feels she has to defend anyone as well.

Thank you very much for the scanlation!

Miki really is built different.....such a strong conclusion. I was 100% with Koyun but the way she picked herself up was so amazing it left me speechless. I hope the other three can learn to appreciate Miki for how she is as well!
