I get one thing if they're purposefully isolated rather than by choice but it's weird for teachers to expect their students to be extroverts compared to elementary school (tho even then shy kids are a thing)

Yeah although you'd think a teacher would be able to try not to interfere too much versus someone directly insulting in front of them tho other than elementary schoolers some older tweens are sneakier about their 'bullying', if not ppl just wanting space like "everyone wants introverts to talk more but no one tells extroverts to stfu" unless ppl are being loud and entitled in the "Karen-y" way
tho while it's sometimes shown in manga as like some comic relief or over the top manga thing , i wonder how teachers would legit react to "this student is from a yakuza family" or "My mom is a sex worker" or so (not that students would blatantly tell a teacher or so)
