So she actually had a reason to not help the child stuck in the gate in the first few chapters...
Still kinda shitty, but I understand her anger towards the people that go, "Save me! Save me! Die for me! You are xyz, you are supposed to protect me, baby me and die for me." If someone doesn't even try to save themselves and puts it all on the person with the role "savior/protector", they suck ass. The one with such a role is supposed to protect you, sure, but they don't absolutely have to. They can just leave you to die and save themselves. Shitty, sure, but it's similarly shitty as to you forcing them to protect while doing nothing.
Crossing fingers the shitty grandma kicked the bucket or was cut off from the rest of the family.
