Don't like the crown prince at all. You know she didn't want you to butt in, so why would you butt in?
... but I understand why he's there, as the tension buildup stemming from his actions is palpable and very well spread.

I don't want him butting in either. I want to see Helga's ingenuity and the duchy's slow crawl into a flaming hole. But in all fairness Helga didn't exactly tell him she would VANISH INTO THIN AIR. I don't know if it would be a good idea to tell him beforehand though...

She has such a huge grudge that she intends to send one of the three pillars of the kingdom into ruin. Putting aside whether it's justified, that's not exactly a noble goal and thus it would be hard for the prince to fathom. He at least knows she wasn't treated fairly but that's the extent of it. And that's probably why he wants to shelter her in the palace or something?? But that would inadvertently help the duchy, which Helga would hate..

As for disliking him, I'm kind of on the fence. He seems to be an egomaniac but I'm a sucker for the type who extends that ego to wanting to protect someone. Especially if it's their childhood sweetheart (uugghhh). All of his moves have been for the sake of Helga but he needs to understand that this isn't his battle. I really want him to back tf off because it might disrupt the momentum of her revenge.
