@FujoPeng feels like the mother of the prince is mentioned once but i forgot if it's in the past chapters or in the future because I'm rereading this XD though, i think his mother is not an important character. So i guess technically he's a concubine's son or something like that.

@FujoPeng @imtaciturn I think it should be that one who was supposed to originally become the queen, but a scandal left her as a concubine? This is why the redhead bitch is angling for the queen position now. So, concubine lady invited the MC to a little tea party or something that one time during her uh, capture by the king as a go opponent? Hard to come up with a less insane sounding way to describe that situation offhand.
