You can't use how many years she spent growing up with her family and compare it with the life experiences she had with Noah and call her decision stupid. You're seriously gonna undermine her relationship with Noah as something shakey when it's not. Rae and Noah have been thick and thin with each other, both having life changing events happen to them. To call it "just a few months" is a huge insult and disrespect to their relationship. Those "few months" have been crazy life changing experiences the two experienced together like almost dying multiple times but coming back together in the end, these "few months" probably feel like a lifetime for them.
It's like undermining the bonds people in war have made with each other, when those events will seem like a lifetime for them and will stay with them forever.
Rae was an adult before she died and she is still an adult now, she can make her choices and if she chooses to be with the man she loves it isn't stupid. Not to be cold but Rae has already died in her previous life while she still yet lives here with a man she is in love with. It is more unfair to Noah for Rae to die in his world now when she is still in front of him alive and well. Family is important yes, but a bird should always be able to be set free from their nests. Nests are supposed to be for nuturing, not caging.
Rae does not owe her life to her family, when you as a parent decide to have a child it is your responsibility to to nuture and care for them and grow them to be fine adults and to NOT expect something in return. If her choices now were to choose to be happy with someone she loves, any loving caring family would support her decision. So not only would you be disrespecting her decision, but you would also be disrespecting her family by calling it stupid and undermining her relationship with Noah.
