I'm a smart person, but this is one of the most confusing stories I've read. As far as I can tell, this story uses the "past" and the "future" interchangeably, making the actual timeline completely incoherent. For Alicia, it seems like she restarted her life: a returner rather than a reincarnator, but 10% of the time it's like she did reincarnate, not return. However, for Clovis, he's a straight up reincarnator as the descendant of the person who murdered Alicia the first time around - he even has a different surname.
Both Alicia and Clovis look 100% totally identical to the prior timeline, as if they restarted no reincarnated - that doesn't happen in reality unless they were clones (not happening in a feudalism-era story. Another inconsistency is that everyone mocks Clovis to looking identical to his grandfather the murderer, but nobody whatsoever says that Alicia looks 100% identical to emo Queen Alicia - and seriously, there's no way her parents would give her the same name as the murdered "poisonous blue rose."
The country as a whole is more like a "returner" situation - the country "fell to ruin" after Queen Alicia's murder...except it is clearly not ruined in the current timeline?
The overall vibe of this story is that the author didn't know whether to do a "redemption/re-live your life" story or a "I remembered my past life story" and just did both, switching to whatever was plot-convenient at the time at the expense of a coherent timeline. It's just a badly written story, unfortunately.
