The Iris girl probably has a background with assassination or something, and stuck with the Sword Saint Princess because she was "full of light" or something like that. You know, classic 'totally platonic soulmates' kinda stuff. Teacher was spot-on with that "please don't cut me down out of jealousy" bit XD.

This manga has been surprisingly fun so far, hopefully it can keep it up.
