I will never understand how those thread users cut anything. To cut with a thread, you need to hold it from both ends, and then apply a lot of tension to it, against the thing you want to cut. But if you are just waving a thread around loosely, you aren't going to cut even a piece of very soft shit.

Bruh, literally the dude with segmented blade said that his thread was made from dragon material, enhanced and controlled by goddamn MAGIC . This should've been the same, no ?

And clearly she is swinging that magically enhanced thread making from maybe-dragon-hair like a whip, and control it with magic like that dude.

Fantasy thread users either used magic and fantasy material, or actually apply the hold-it-both-end process like real life.

and sometimes combinations of them lol, the wire user in akame ga kill would make spears, SPEARS, out of the wire/string. usually they go for a whip or just have string/wire/etc so it being attachted to a hilt is a bit different tho....maybe..
