While though Seika is seemingly dense that isn’t the reason for his bringing up the harem all Seika wants for Ifa is to be happy and do what she wants. He even states he would be lonely but knows that keeping Ifa from true happiness would be horrible thing which is why he states that he’ll go through the process of setting her free instead of outright letting the prince buy her instead.

Supporting her growth is great, but he's still an idiot for the way he goes about it.

Very lazy and dumb writing... the "dense" or oblivious" young MC archetype doesn't work here, this is supposed to be his second life, he is already a mature character, he shouldn't be this stupid....
