@KimmyChii
I hope she would be able to tell if she was writing the type of "yuri" you are talking about. I think she is writing softer shoujo ai... probably.
@KimmyChii@FeBriz From my understanding, Japan doesn't have Shoujo-Ai, only Yuri. So girls love, and soft gentle romance is also Yuri. It was the West that invented Shoujo-Ai and made everything confusing, and a lot of the time the tagging doesn't even really make sense as everyone has different everyone definitions of Shoujo-Ai. Basically though, she wrote a book about cute interactions between girls, and was surprised when people took it as romantic. She didn't make a book with flat out sex.
@daniel345 Eh I don't think that's the case. Pretty sure if she didn't go in the direction of actual yuri, at least some of her readers would accuse her of baiting.
@Pyoro I mean Yuri and GL are the terms commonly used in Japan, and commonly used in the works themselves. So I could see putting an end to Shoujo-Ai, but I'd personally say to keep it tagged with Yuri. Since it keeps it in line with the terminology from the source country. But that's just my opinion and it's cool if you don't agree.
