Given that she's mentioned 'highly sticky tape' (i.e. duct tape) when fixing the ship and her eyes turning Master-like.

I think that all of Master's homunculi have backdoor connection to her such that even if the main body somehow get destroyed, the knowledge/personality can be inherited by another body to keep going.

Bell's genius intelligence might've been the result of her subconsciously connecting to that database since long ago, and now with the Master being conscious it's slowly affecting her personality.

Nope, you are not.

Accually the author fessed up in an portrait interview, that the reason he created the clones of mages thing in this manga is because he knows about this shortcoming of himself and therefore wanted to make his job easier, which is a total lie I just made up, but it would totally fit the bill, wouldn't it?
