If there's one grievance I have with this story, it's that Sedin barely has a personality.
I hope that he gets developed in the future, considering he's seemingly being pushed as the ML.

She can't blame the guys being suspisciouns since Rene from Macias family that destroyed his family is offering help. Also I like mc and sedin but if she chooses to leave she can't fall for him in Rene's body. Im pretty sure the ending will involve Rene's return for happy ending, the mc gets to return home to cerberus and a sedin look alike or the system will work in her favor and let her decide her fate in both worlds. Its interesting how alike MC and sedin are both lived on the battle field, devoid of emotion and fulfillment and found purpose in one anothers company and get jealous and upset when they're apart. She truly has a winning personality despite her lack of confidence.

What is this stories problem with constant backtracking on information that could and should be told linearly. 2 steps forward to progress the story and a step back to inform us of stuff that could of just been told along the way.

It's a common tactic to garner attention early. Often stories that have a lot of build up to those big moments would lose a bulk of their audience before the payoff, so they instead use these hooks to get people's attention, and then fill in the gaps afterwards. Looking it up, there are multiple ways to define this:

• "in medias res" (or "in the middle of things")
• non-linear storytelling
• anachronic order storytelling

Annoying, but if it works, it works.
