I wasnt even keenly analyzing it before I came back to this story, but I definately noticed something felt off about the style here. Maybe its a hiatus thing? Or possibly an attempt at an evolution, who knows?

But yeah... Saintess is in a sticky situation... the downsides of being that gal.

Actually, this manhua never had a single hiatus. It just after Bilibili international shutdown nobody really have translated this except MTLs.

They don't enter hiatus even when the lead artist got hospitalized and in a condition they can't draw; the manhua still updated by other artists in the studio. It's really messy at some point they made mistakes so much that it got normalized until they released an apology statement (like wrong number of Gong Lianyue's tear marks, and one time confused one character with another - Dream Calamity arc still rocks despite the problems tho).

Just so you know this manhua releases 2 chapters/week so to be fair the studio don't really have the time to do some quality control. It's about twice the content as other mangas but you have to stomach inconsistent drawings.

As for me deteriorating art is not the biggest concern just that the further the chapter is, the less cute and wholesome the story gets.

I too, do miss when it was wholesome, now its just hands, which I have no issue with, but man, the Yuri feels like such a sidequest in this thing and it kinda sucks to see. They best get to infinite banging when this is over to make up for this 😤
