@Baqly Glasses are just fine if you use them for style (or they are sunglasses), but if you have poor vision and are forced to use them, who wouldn't want to get rid of them? She looks more generic without, but I'm just happy for her that she could stop using them.
@Kaarme not necessarily, as I wear glasses, but I get what you mean. It just also the reason she stoped using her glasses also doesn’t make much sense and she looked at lot more distinguishable with them on.
@Baqly her eyesight improved (i assume as a side effect of being the saintess) so she took them off? she was previously wearing prescription glasses so if her eyesight improved she wouldnt be able to see with it on anymore i guess because if you have perfect eyesight, trying on your friend's prescription glasses makes everything blur and causes dizziness and could potentially make your eyesight worse
@Kaarme I can't speak for everyone with glasses, but I have had crap fly and hot the lenses that likely would have at least hurt my eye if not embedded itself inside, personally I like the glasses beyond just their looks and if I do end up getting lasik of some sort, something I want, ill likely pick a pair I like and have non prescription safety lenses put in, not really for a fashion reason, but a practical its nice not getting crap in my eye reason.
@alidan I wear protective eyewear over my glasses when I'm using power tools or doing other such work. Prescription glasses can cost hundreds of euros easily, with decent titanium frames, plastic safety goggles cost less than 10 euros. I wouldn't say that is thus totally relevant.
@Kaarme Oh yea, if you are doing something that can damage the glasses, you put on a pair of safety glasses, but i'm more talking about every day things that can hit you in the eye that you wouldn't have safety glasses on for.
