To be fair, he's been at it even throughout summer vacation. If I googled it correctly, their summer break is a month.

I don't recall how much time before summer that he started working out, but assuming he started exercising a month before summer and he goes to gym thrice/week, 24 workouts is plenty of time for some sweet newbie gainz.
