Before this point I honestly was wondering how in the hell an anime adaptation of this ever got greenlit.

That shit got greenlit before the manga had anywhere near enough material for a cour of anime. But KanoKari prints beaucoup bucks in Japan so it's not a surprise that the rights to an adaptation of Reiji's subsequent work were snatched up expeditiously. Should provide a good boost to make readership at the very least. I'll certainly watch it.

Anime actually got me to pick this up again and binge it

last chapter i said it didnt matter what she did but i stand corrected and i mean the balls she fucking has to do all this despite her timidness. she was always rash but to think she'd actually kiss him, had me shook.

also a bit surprised by Arata. With all the praise he was giving her and him actually confronting her feelings, I was just waiting for the author to be like "but it was all a dream" this chapter went crazy
