Would only work with certain, weaker poisons

Botulinum toxin for example would kill you even if heavily diluted. A single gram, evenly distributed, can kill roughly a million people.

So yeah, some toxins can't be easily diluted. It's not impossible, Botox injections are somewhat common enough, but it's not particularly easy.
