@Tatherwood I suppose. She really didn't want to come in the first place, anyway, and she came with a backup plan in case things went sideways. Seems the opposite of stupid to me. Misanthropy is more of a theoretical concept to most of us, even if we feel it deeply. We're never put into a position to act on it, so we thus have no reason to question our own reasoning for it. We're an illogical and self contradictory lot, we humans are.
