Well on the plus side, if Rena obtained skills and had a "weird dream", it means the Rena in the old timeline isn't really dead since she probably got sent back along with him.

What does "revision of the beginning" mean? Does this mean he can go back to the time, when he was raised for the first time and save the necromancer chick?

Also the assimilation rate didn't drop but increase. I always thought of the massage "assimilation rate decreased" as a warning. But when he got aware of the increase, he got wussy. So I'm not sure, if this is a good or bad thing.

I assume assimilation % is to the world as he travels back further to his point of origin when it reaches zero, to get as strong as possible to complete all tasks up until his original death.

Also, “revision of the beginning”... I’m a little scared that it means his “lover” can go back in time with him at death. And THAT Rena was the same Rena of old world, but she just thought it was a dream since she woke up ? ID BE SO SAD IF THAT WERE THE CASE. But... I guess if anything.. if it WAS the case, Rena might make better choices/ be a little smarter on her own this time around. I do think it’s best for them to go their separate ways...

What if, instead of going backwards in time, he is instead leaping into the body of an alternate dimension version of himself? That would explain the slight differences between each reset (like the girl sleeping on his lap instead of the blanket).
The assimilation rate could actually be a marker tracking how close he is to his original timeline, and if it drops too low it could result in him losing his connection to that body.

Fun fact from a second year chemistry student, super acids are very much real chemicals and are described as chemicals more acidic then 100% sulfuric acid. The "cannot be described by chemical formula" part is wrong, but they can't be decribed using the ph scale so maybe that's what the author ment.
