Respect for the TL team sticking all ride long: 10/10

Respect to the authors's overall effort: 6/10, felt lacking here and there

Respect for the story itself: 2/10, I'd blame the source material for this I guess

The uploader needs to mark the last chapter with the "END" tag.
The series info has the final chapter as volume 3, chapter 15.2. Eresh Scans uploaded the last several chapters as "No volume". They, or MD staff will need to reorganize those chapters under volume 3. Once that is done the "END" tag is added automatically.

Never have 15 chapters felt so long. Where is my medal for finishing this?

I want to send this series to my literature teacher from uni, this needs to be analyzed. How someone can create something that is so bad that it actually get repulsory. I don't think I have ever given anything a 1 before, but this is going to be my first.

Edit. Also thx for translation, I can't imagine the pain you must have gone through.

The train crashed, wrecked, did a few backflips but in the end it kinda landed back on track and, despite the locomotive's left cyllinder bursting on both ends, the boiler creaking and threatening to explode in spaghetti (image below) the wagons pulled in, the few functioning brakes creaking and cracking, somehow brought the wrecked train to a stop where it should be.

This was the oddest manga I've read in so long. It was a 5 when I picked it up and it's a 4 when I put it down.

It at least intrigued me, but my god I felt like I was reading my old collection of stories I would write back in middle/highschool.

Thank you translators

Thanks for finishing this one.

Holy shit this is awful man, the author literally pulled the "who are you" memory loss two times in the same manga with only a total of fifteen chapters. What a shit show and not even a good one at that. Then a massive time skip to a wedding? Better than nothing I guess, but what was the author seriously thinking with this plot?
This is one of the ones that the harem route might have been the way to go i think.

A harem of tragic history. I stop reading when plot got stupid. So don't know if it work out or not.

It took a bet with Haruno to stop Ayana from leaving him for good because her resolve to make him fall in love with her all over again is as strong as moldy tofu. And even then she almost did.

Using the titular convenience store incident to help play a role in Riku getting his memories back. That by itself isn't so bad (lots of better series go full circle at the end), but it's the timing and execution of the entire thing that was terrible. This entire second amnesia arc really felt unnecessary especially since it's used as a dumb twist for the last two full chapters.

It's like the writer has access to good, popular ingredients (tropes) available for a story and somehow managed to burn it all to a carbonized crisp while cooking.

Seeing that happy ending felt like seeing someone finally dump a bucket of water to put out a sputtering dumpster fire out of its misery. Terrible as it is, it was actually entertaining for me in an unintentional, negative way. My thanks to the scanlation team for slogging through this until the end. It's bad and painful at times but not boring, it was actually funny to point out all the crazy crap going on.

It never really beat my allegation that this was the author's cringy fic from middle school that they fished out of the attic in desperation, after getting asked by the publisher for a last-minute filler story they can publish.

I think I'm upgrading my rating to a 4 from a 3 just because I had so much fun tearing apart all the unbelievably dumb cliches in the garbage writing. "Shit show" is the perfect way to describe this, but I'm not giving this a 1: there are far worse stories out there, like ones that mindlessly revel in soul-crushing, endless sexual violence, abuse and glorification of cuckoldry. The foul ones designed to make the reader feel angry and defeated because the villains win, love is burnt to ashes and evil is rewarded until the very end.

At least with this bad story I can laugh at it. Stories worse than this only make you feel bad without even any payoff at the end.

Well, that was a speedrun of a story, it was obviously made to be released at certain number of chapters but mangaka decided to finish the story till the end, but cut unfortunately a lot of context.

Story of a wish fulfillment, both Riku and Ayana had traumatic past, coped on their own way with experience that changed their lives.

Ayana made a delusional world, where her parents gone on business trip and changed her appearance in school, so nobody would connect her elementary school self with highschool personality, but still remained the same elsewhere.

Riku distanced himself from everyone except his childhood friend Haruno, who he had support through hard times after loosing parents and blaming himself for sister death that he had a fight before accident, which made her not listen to him to wait for him joining his parents in the car accident.
Ayana delusion was her not remembering parents suicide, for him was guilt of making his sister mad at him.

Haruno was a very good friend, it's a shame she didn't understand how Riku fell in love with her, until he found his true love after she thoughtlessly rejected him, after all she didn't had any other relationships before and that was something completely new to her. It's sad in the end, it was a third time her heart was broken and there wasn't any other classmate or person who could heal her heart.

Kana being a closest friend to Ayana, seeing how caring Riku is but that is taking a toll on him, fell in love with him despite her friendship with Ayana, but that was when Ayana lost her memories of them together. Still it was just her trying to not make Ayana remember her traumatic past and sacrificing herself for them be at pace, kinda odd way but after things going back to normal, asked Ayana for forgiveness so they can still be friends. Too bad there wasn't anyone else to keep her company...

Happy that eventually Riku and Ayana came together despite him loosing memory, they were really meant for each other despite shared traumatic past. Even getting married, which was a big FU to Riku grandmother who blamed him for all the people dying around him.

In conclusion, story about two broken mentally teenagers, making up their shared traumatic past through forgiveness and support in hard times, but also sacrifice not only physical but also love love in favour of at least one being happy.

Overall, nice story, sadly it's very rushed, should be at least twice as long but that's how ruthless Japanese manga and anime market is.

7/10
