Also keep in mind, no. 38 usually buys a lot of stuff too, and hes' just a normal noble(or a mega-rich noble), AND, considering his lack of a mask, he probably buys extravagant things all the time. Claude, considering who he is, probably doesn't spend extravagantly on anything at all, outside of buying things for Ivona so, its unlikely the money he spent here at the auction is anything significantly financial-breaking.

@sirflimflam yeah.. our preference seems different. For me, i prefer someone who use their brain and power.

He's a ruler of that area right? It mean that he got his money from people, i just hope that he can spend it wisely, not only for his personal sake. The fact that this auction held in this are means he can't control that area. This won't happen if he's capable as a ruler.

I just think this story is a bit off. They introduce someone as a skilled swordsman but instead of showing his skill, they focus on showing him as a rich husband. Thats all.
