Honestly this butler acts more like an Alfred than a Sebastian. Kinda sad that Japanese writers don't understand the importance of a proper butler name.

The chapters are too short seems like the publisher has not much hope for this series, poor Amagai Yukino is stuck on this...
Btw he needs to become the emperor so that his family is safe? Bullshit, just add yourself to one of the 3 strongest parties.

Honestly he actually left because of the retarded gate keeper... well there is a reason the publisher hasn't much hope for this series, anyone wanna bet if this series makes it to chapter 26 before it gets cancelled?

@Izaya_Onisai

He explained, his brother is already seen as a threat, so it does not matter if they try to join another faction, all three already see them as a threat to be disposed of.

Also, if he insisted maybe he would be let in, but going back was better, this way he can make get more from the duke. The simples fact that silver was there to help and was sent back is an enormous advantage to him.

Thanks for the chapter!
Put explanation on why Linne is called Blue Seagull in Spoiler tag if anyone curious but might or might not be explained in a later chapter.
In case anyone is interested the LN explains the Blue Seagull moniker in better detail. Apparently the current emperor ordered all the craftsman to make hair ornaments in the shape of a bird. (Why not indicated, maybe was feeling whimsy, or wanted to encourage and stimulate craftsmen to make things, wanted an excuse to gather beauties or some other reason.) A blue seagull shaped hair ornament caught his eye and declared only the most beautiful woman in the empire deserved to wear it. So gathered all the empire's beauties together to judge who was the most beautiful. (Criteria not mentioned so might just be physical beauty, or personality and composure, or emperor's whim.) Miss Kleinhart was declared the winner despite being 14 years old and received the blue seagull ornament along with the moniker. Considering how gossip works and political implications even in nothing she likely has to wear it whenever in public due to receiving both the hair ornament and nickname from the emperor lest she and her family be punished for lese majesty due to an implied insult towards the emperor by not wearing it. After all, no matter how gently worded a request is, due to it coming from royalty means one can't refuse no matter what without it being taken as an insult.

@Rafaelrgm Disagree and just putting forth my opinion and analysis of the potential ramifications, but will add spoiler tags as you do have a point in that this is rather lengthy and might be talked in detail in later chapters.
In more ways than one. Granted Silver could have snuck in since that idiot Gatekeeper had already carved his decision in stone and couldn't be bothered doing anything to change it, but this way it'll make the Duke house desperate, more inclined to side with Leo and help out, and make them owe Leo much more. Since Prince Leo 'went out of his way' to call Silver to come help and Silver was rudely turned away at the gate it's a huge insult to both Leo and Silver. Granted there was no advance notice from Leo or the Guild about Silver showing up, but calling Silver a fake and refusing to even examine his guild card was beyond the pale. Since Silver was rudely turned away it's implying the Duke house feels like it's superior to both the prince and Silver, that it doesn't need their help, and aren't afraid of the repercussions. Essentially it's like making an enemy of both the prince and Silver which means the Duke house is in really hot water politically. Also, since unable to handle monsters themselves that would mean hiring adventurers. However, if an SS class adventurer like Silver is treated so badly it means the lower ranked ones would be treated even worse so once word gets out the Duke house won't be able to hire any adventurers for anything.

Man, too much. I limited my explanation to not enter in spoiler territory since it'll probably be explained in the next chapters.
