I thought it was odd (and that the manga was playing the trope) that the famous silver wouldn't be recognized. But I guess you could say the royals don't meddle with adventurers too much. Cause Ch 2 shows the duke's son not believing he was Silver (or Silver's outfit is really simple/common) but in Ch 5 the other adventurers know of his status. But you'd imagine an SS rank would be somewhat known in the empire since Ch 0 states he's 1 of the only 5 SS ranks, and I assume the only one specifically at the imperial branch.

Hit'n'miss, she already has feelings for the MC, she is his childhoodfriend and loves his prince-personality, though she is annoyed by the silver-personality, but well, doesnt know its him, so... almost annoyingly loyal xD "i would kill every other person alive to save you"-level with her here

the mask is unique and he is the only SS in the empire, well known, even in noble circles (she is no royal) but i mean, understandable i guess, not everyone knows the exact look, just that he exists and is called silver with a silver mask, so, some may not recognize him until he says his name

Seems to be some conspiracy behind that tho, in the novel its hinted that something from outside changed, they seem to have been relativly decent people before the crown prince died.

I'm guessing it must be the same conspiracy that killed the crown prince, although I recall this plot line being more of a background mystery. (Main plot was on Arnold's adventures in the power struggle last I checked.)

MC and his brother are twins, MC even managed to trick the other noble that he was his brother out on the street so can't MC just pretend to be his brother during the competition and lead the troops to victory while the brother stays back in the castle pretending to be him? the brothers morals probably wouldn't allow him though

well beside the morals I think both aren't physically and magically strong.
Not sure if making it seem like his brother has such magical powers is an advantage, since it would be just a bluff.
