Read between the lines people. It's so simple.
The 'Zhong Yang Faction' mentioned in this chapter is the Yang Zhong Faction' and vice versa. It seems we keep getting the switch around on the name of this faction. *sighs*
MC has gone against the Zhong Yang Faction, thus the Zhong Yang Faction has come to attack those close to the MC. I'm guessing that old man is the leader or something? We'll probably find out in the next chapter or two. I'm sure that old man will start boasting about himself.
But really, after reading so many wuxia manga, my ability to read between the lines has upgraded to God level. Especially in this one. I use my maximum special ability to read this manga. Still, there isn't really a big jump in this scene. I've read this kind of jump so many times in novels and manga. Usually, in the next chapter it'll show, or at least explain to us how the fight started.
With that said, really though, thanks for the update.
I saw how this manga has already been translated up to +200 chapters but you literally have to turn your brain off to read it. It hurts just to read it, that's why I don't and wait patiently for the update on mangadex.

in the previous chapter he was with his master refining pills, while he was refining he got a message. The message was probably about how the Xu family was being attacked. So we come to into the middle of the battle instead of them wasting a chapter showing how she sent the MC a message.
This was all cause supposedly that He guy was disciple of that old guy, even tho he was just garbage human who had it coming. This zhong faction was said not to get involved in family scrobbles. But we saw many chapters ago, some dude on a chair say they are breaking their own clan rules cause they dont care. So now they attacking the other familes who are just friends with the MC cause.... why not I guess ? People dont tend to be all that smart in this manwha and do random things
