@Ghede I think it's just representing the character not being good at coming up with names, so they go for something simple. Like naming a black dog Kuro, or in this case Lime which is just slime with the beginning part taken out. Also the fact that a lot of slimes are green, calling them lime is fitting in that sense.

IIRC it's because in Japanese it's written/pronounced something like su-rai-mu, so taking that first syllable away makes it rai-mu/Lime/Lyme.

I have no idea how much time it takes for Rude's outer shell to recharge, but let's assume it's 24hrs. He has 9999, to be safe let's count it as 9k. An S rank is 1 million. 1000000/9000 = 111 days, basically in 4 months he could have a perfect labyrinth with an S rank boss, assuming that other adventurers are also fighting in it and he's also populating the other levels with monsters.

If he gets healer help, then he can lounge while getting pummled. I do wonder, though, how the power structure would respond to him having such immense power.
