Pretty much a disclaimer to state that next chapter they will be using correct gender pronouns. Probably wanted to get it out faster than taking the time to fix it.

This is, of course, unless you're referring to the origin text using male pronouns. If so, I dunno, Japan is weird like that.

@Gladiator02 It's a translation thing. The original source the gender is ambiguous since Japanese rarely use gender based pronouns. Honestly these harem series rarely have a second male character in a major role for obvious reasons. Can't have competition. So that should have been enough of a clue that the hero was female even without relying on gender based pronouns.
