I'm really bad at solving mysteries but here's what I think happened:
My guess is that the collapsed girl is from the gardening club and was the one who put the flower there. Reason? To see if the flower would wither quickly and confirm the rumor about the land being infertile. She just forgot to tell anyone about it or didn't think anybody would care.
And then after the entire student body found out about it some bored person decided to go pull it out to kill time during a break.
And then later on when she went back to check on the flower she got so angry about her experiment being sabotaged that she started hyperventilating and collapsed.

The characters lack actual character, I find the loli annoying, and the premise of having to change her clothes all for a bit of fan service is already worn thin on the second chapter. I bet this gets the axe quick.

Considering what a high class ojou-sama she is I highly doubt her maid just "happened" to be out again. Frankly I was suspicious the first time as there's no way she wouldn't have servants/guards not around as she doesn't appear to be wearing any monitoring equipment and if her health really is bad her parents would never risk her collapsing between shifts. Betcha at some point, maybe 50-100 chapters later, find out she had them conceal themselves so could appear alone with Souta to get him to change her clothes because really interested in him but too shy or something to confess. Will be interesting to see what she comes up with in terms of the fainting student and flower.
@Ovdose Good theory but think more to it than that. Explanation will probably include why ground so infertile along with what happened to flower and student. Then again I could just be making a complicated mountain out of a simple molehill.
