The Supreme Touhou Art Tournament

[Mangamoz]

@luvyhluvart please don't be mad, I'm loyal to Fland ~ ♡
but I think I won't participate in this contest 😿

I'm gonna end up winning a hollow empty victory cause everyone else isn't even trying. That ain't fun.

Das hot.

[Richman]

Oh man, I have absolutely no idea what to choose. It's actually kinda hard to pick something that represents touhou lol. I went through my pixiv bookmarks (there's no way i'm finding anything in my twitter bookmarks) and like 80% of them are just arts of Reimu specifically lmao.

Spoiler: I could pick this one you've probably seen on a certain youtube video

Spoiler: Or I could pick this one, classic IN moment

Spoiler: Maybe this one, I like the subtle yuri vibes

None of these are my final choices. I'm still deciding.

Well, nothing wrong about having a favourite girl. Goofy images work as well (even if they're not about Cirno), but of course I have to expect sublime ones from you!

@Richman and @Atifus in DC be liek:

What is the position of the tournament organizers on Touhou PicMixes? Asking for a friend

No modifications can be made on the pictures, that's why I mentioned the importance of linking the source. Besides, a gif is not a picture, so it automatically falls out of the definition. To make it clear, no collages are allowed in the tournament, only raw pictures from all the media specified in the rules (which is pretty much everything). "Your own art" means you draw them from zero, no generative AI involved or similar software.

That's the nicest "FUCK OFF!" post I have ever seen.

I love Touhou, I enjoy the music and the animations, and with pictures I like the goofy ones, serious ones, sexy ones too. But I think the ones I love the most are the type of art that evokes the feeling of "fantasy", since Gensokyo is a fantastical world, I feel it's the best when you are in awe seeing something that feels out of this world. Probably why both Reimu and Yukari are on my top 5 characters at number 1 and 2 interchangeably.

Who are the other 3?

[Richman]

Who are the other 3?

Sakuya, Marisa. 5th slot is loose, could be anyone I get attached to. Reisen, Yuyuko, Youmu, Remi, Keiki, Junko, Hecatia, Ran, etc etc

[Garett]

No new gens?

[Mangamoz]

No new gens?

Evil Hell Kirby is one of MY favs at least.

The thing is: YOUR TOUHOU FAN ARTWORK IS LIKELY GOING TO BE BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL DESIGN BY ZUN. Give a try: pick a pencil, spend your time at least an hour.

[Manko-sensei]

@Bartolumiu will you be yuring around with us or only one mod is allowed to participate in each tournament?
