The author didnt provide much context, but I've understood it as, Zi Lang calls himself a clown because they are paying him to fight, hence why he has to "play his part". "return to his own place" is referencing him after done killing to opponent, he has to start the cycle all over again and fight someone tomorrow.
"Today doesn't belong to, my sword, is weeping"
Referencing the title of the manhua, Sword of Glory, he's killing for money and no longer for glory/honor/protecting his country. Zi Lang compares his sword to his core values, he isn't doing what he started out to do, hence his sword/his values are "weeping".
