I suppose this saying goes most relevant to this scenario:
"It takes two thieves to make an honest bargain."
One way or another, cause they know how the other operates, one can see their own schemes.
I know that 10 things I hate about you was a modern interpretation to Shakespeare's work, but, I can't help but feel like this feels like this was somewhat leaning closer to that interpretation. Not all of course.
The original play though somehow disturbs me while this one made it more tame.
