I remeber reading the novel for this. Hopefully this conveys it well

I really enjoyed reading this series. What's particularly interesting about them is the way that Liu takes classic scifi tropes and presents them in unique ways, making the experience of reading his novels at once both familiar and fresh, a feeling not entirely unlike deja vu. I hope the manhua is able to keep even a tiny bit of that feeling.
