Why exactly are we trying to save the people of this country again, because now the circle of "bad people" has expanded from Julius, most of the nobility that support him and the Adenauers in particular to everyone that believed the rumours about Hildegard despite seeing her everyday deeds as a saintess? At this point it'd be easier to just evacuate the innocent citizens to other countries and let the rest enjoy the consequences of their decisions.

The King and Prince are decent folk it seems - it's just the Second Prince is a piece of shit

Because 'the consequence' would devastate the lands of those innocent citizens as well as, y'know, letting large amount of monsters run rampant and spill out to other countries?

If you set your house on fire trying to kill a roach, don't act surprise when you are homeless.

At this point it's more like an apartment complex with 3 decent families and 25 squatter clans wasting the place. And we aren't setting it on fire ourself, we give up preventing them from doing it after having spent every waking moment doing nothing else before.
