These characters make no seeeense. The mom just rescued the baby from being murdered, then willingly lets him take the baby away again without saying a word? And she doesn't even remark that the baby is bleeding, which is really not a good thing for a tiny child. Why are all the characters in this story utterly inconsistent and act really stupid?
