I really hope they don’t trust that noble so easily. I want to keep thinking they’re smarter than that.

Thanks for the chapter as always! You’ve spoiled is this week!!

All the characters are just not likable. I'm so done with how fake these so called adults are towards little kids like this. Bitch they didn't ask to be born! 😤 Also why are you guys trying to kill them as if they would have a chance at the throne? Also I wish these “two” protagonist could be a bit more able to see that everyone hates them and honestly even if the king and the princes are being nice now, if the king only said one word them being abused could have and most likely would have stopped and never happened. So fuck these characters that call little kids bastards. And fuck the king for wanting to make up to them. They don't even want to be royalty

@cinnamoncookie earlier they said the king didn't show then any attention because it was dangerous. Plus, I think they're trying to kill them because they are illegitimate children. I wouldn't hold it against the dad, he doesn't seem like someone who can handle feelings very well (he also didn't know they were being abused, the servants and mom probably hid it), and those adults are probably just two-faced. Tbh, the protagonist are pretty smart since they can share thoughts, I'm sure they know they are disliked by the nobles. Your rating was pretty harsh, like you skimmed through the whole thing.

@cinnamoncookie Agreed
@MissAlexxis
Nah her rating is the truth. Just point blank that. The father does deserve this bc the fact that he didn’t bother to find out his children’s condition/situation until the mother died was his downfall. Even if he had good intentions, it is what it is. He should’ve checked on them rather than acting like they didn’t exist. So did the brothers. Also, the protagonists are aware of how everyone feels about them. however, i also feel that they are going along with things too smoothly. If anything, they are only uncomfortable with them and everything. I can’t really feel any hatred from them, or more like i barely see any hurt from them. Idk i guess i just want them to express their hurt strongly, but anyways yeah, the emperor and the brothers deserve all the hate. If they truly want the protagonists to forgive them, they are going to have to work very hard. I just hope the protagonists doesn’t easily trust the ducal family. They are supposed to have trust issues like they claim, but from the way they reacted to them in this chapter, it doesn’t seem like they have trust issues...

I like this series already, as this is possibly one of the very few manhwa/mangas that did well in emphasizing the reincarnation.

Both MCs were from a modernized world and died at the young age of 18. They were then reincarnated together with the same memories and maturity, and turned into newborn babies, but unfortunately was abused every day by their own mother. I wondered how the author was going to go about it. Despite having a developed brain, they were limited in what they could've done.

They were trapped in this tiny and small body, unable to defend themselves. And yet, they were mentally capable enough to know that what's happening isn't right, and how much of a dynamic it was to be treated as such despite knowing that they were being abused, as a child even. What's also an extremely nice take is that they'll still have some form of PTSD. Unlike the other stories where the child with a 20 year old brain would just all of a sudden be fine with getting abused, this story shows the reality of things, that depending on what kind of environment and luck you'd have, it wouldn't matter much even if you were old enough to understand the situation.

And not only that, I'm assuming both of them had a relatively decent and healthy environment in their previous life. They were treated like any child would've been, and lived in a normal modernized world. To die young, and to live and endure that life all over again, but instead they're being abused, it must've been quite a slap in the face.

I know child abuse and PTSD can be a very difficult topic to write and must require quite a lot of research, so I don't know if how the author wrote it was 100% right. But there are a lot of things being addressed in this story, and the author is actually trying to use the reincarnation genre to the fullest, unlike some other stories where authors just use them and throw it away, like it didn't even really make a difference in the first place other than to say, "Oh, this MC is different from the other characters, she's smart and mature for a child." You know, with those generic ass descriptions of some office lady pooping and all of a sudden either died an odd way&reincarnated or just straight up travelled into a new dimension and becoming this once in a billion years talented magician. You know, the ones with unreasonably long and descriptive title. The author used the reincarnation genre because it's trending, not because it would've made a single difference.

So, yeah. There's that.

@MissAlexxis I actually read each chapter. What I said wasn't harsh. The fact that he knew what type of woman their mom was and allowed her to keep them was a big mistake on his part. The fact that they were abused by servants was also his fault. They knew that they existed. But they choose to ignore them. Now that they are in the palace he thinks being a little nice is gonna make up for it. The protagonist also don't show as much hate as you would to someone who could have saved you from such a traumatic experience. He could have easily sent someone to check on them. Even if they are bastards. He is the one that help bring them into the world. But instead he ignored them

@CardiBslays @Cinnamoncookie but if he sent someone to check on them wouldn't that reveal he cares? There are probably spies in the palace. Maybe he figured that because he didn't have a strong relationship with the mom she would take care of her kids and not care. He probably didn't know how obsessed she was. That's the main reason she abused them anyways. she blamed it on them. They author signified his care for them by saying how he named them himself. He seems pretty emotionless, so he probably thought that showed his love for them. In his eyes, he was protecting them from the schemes of the palace, he obviously didn't know about the abuse. Look at them now. They're bout to be tricked immediately by someone who obviously doesn't approve of them.

@MissAlexxis and what's the reason for them both getting treated like that? Oh right because he decided to fuck a girl without pulling out. Now he decides to step up and be a dad. It's no excuses for him to not be able to show his emotional. He clearly is dumb. I'm sure he knew what's going on with everything that happens in his own place. He is a horrible person and is just now trying to make up for it. Anyway I don't care. I just think what I think. That just my opinion. You really don't have to think the same as me. After all it's people that think being unable to express your feelings is an excuse to be unable to understand basic human knowledge 😁

@MissAlexxis I understand what you are saying, however, that is not an excuse. There are no excuses to dismiss his neglection. Now we both know he and the siblings could have easily checked on the children secretly; such as, remember when one of the siblings finally decided to check on the children? He changed his identity/appearance. Anyways, the emperor and the siblings would have to work extremely hard to be forgiven, much less be viewed as a family.
@cinnamoncookie Agreed. I wouldn’t call him a horrible person bcuz he had good intentions and it was understandable, However, his decision was very wrong. So yeah, it’s going to be hard for him and the siblings to make up for this. It would be great if the two protagonists could express their hurt even more.

@cinnamoncookie I mean, you're entitled to your opinion. I still don't think he knew it was happening, after all, the maids and the mom abused them, so they probably made up some shitty story saying the kids were fine. He isn't unable to express his feelings because he doesn't have any. It's a fantasy world, character personalities are wacky and some things are unexplainable, like why the hell is the mom so obsessed anyways. I understand what you mean, but i still stand with my thought on it. To the kids and readers, it's unforgivable how they didn't show attention to the kids. The author tries to make it seem better by giving the kids a higher mental age, so it doesn't have as much of an affect it would on younger children. It's just the plot. I'm betting the kids will start trusting the wrong people and shunning the royal family. Then when they get betrayed they'll understand why they got no attention. I said the reason for them getting treated like that was because the mom probably wasn't getting the kings attention, since she's obsessed. If she hadn't died, they would've probably been left them them till they came of age. It's all up to the author anyway¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

I don't understand why this keeps getting changed to Long Strip (native), it's a regular, single-paged manhwa, please Mangadex 😭

Was really hoping we would skip the "established adult inside a child's body takes some time to drool over a hot 10yo" trope but alas.

Still liking it a lot but gosh does brain-age get forgotten so quickly in reincarnation stories.
