I really don't like Baek Chon. She never cared for Ye Hwa at all. Her way of friendship is so fucking twisted I dont think they're genuine friends at all Ye Hwa was just convenient for her ugh

I personally don't quite like her either. I do think she cares for Ye Hwa (they grew up together when they were young and Baek Chon cried when Ye Hwa left) but since she's lived such a privileged life, she doesn't take into account how she can so easily dictate Ye Hwa's life regardless of her will which I think is rather unfortunate. In this case, she's spoiled and had a sheltered life and needs to grow up. She just thinks that if they switch places, Ye Hwa would live in luxury and she can go live freely so they both win something out of it when that's not the case. Really, what a spoiled girl. She has no idea what it's like for Ye Hwa. She doesn't even consider how if Ye Hwa were to get caught, she would die for it. The fact that she only bothered to ask about what Ye Hwa wants now is just annoying when they're already on their way to the palace. I just want to shake her out of frustration.

Oh boy, I can already foresee Baek Chon creating so many misunderstandings in the future with her willfulness... ugh... she might even get Ye Hwa in trouble using her name in the future or worse... all the switching back and forth could get them in a romantic mess which would be super annoying.

I am maybe cruel, but at this point, I wish for the sudden death of the emperor. So this way the wedding is cancelled and Ye Hwa will be in safe(r).
And second, the princess not want to get married to a 50 years old guy, with a harem, but she think Ye Hwa would want? Why would she? For me, the princess is a spoiled brat, and I really want her to be in Ye Hwa place, when her father wants to sell her off to a brothel. Just to get a little taste of the world. (To be more specific, I don't want her to be selled, just the know, that it could happen)

I feel like it’s waaaayyyyy too much of a coincidence that ye hwa and baek chon look so alike and were even born the same day... they must be twins and ye hwa was given to the nurse maid who had a stillborn or smth. Don’t know why they would separate the two. ye hwa’s mom doesn’t look anything like her. We don’t know what her birth father looked like though, nor what happened to him.
