Kay? Why would he care about having a sibling? He was raised from birth to be a killer, right? The siblings are taught that they have to compete against each other (stupid concept, which just weakens your family) so how would they have close familial ties? I mean they're literally telling us they don't hug to show affection but to size each other up. So what value does familial affection hold when you're at that level of casual dominance?

I also find it hard to believe that after a successor was decided that'd be the end of it. You'd have constantly waring factions if they adhered to the idea of survival of the fittest and have been trained from youth to compete with each other. Given that type of upbringing you'd absolutely expect the outcome to be killing 10000 people and living a lonely solitary life.

Lastly, if this is her favorite novel, why is her idea to totally rewrite the whole thing? I mean she's not just planning to change a few errors, she's totally going to change everything.
