As dumb and as formulaic as the early part of this series is, those two shots on pages 8 and 9 are phenomenal.

There is a certain very interesting juxtaposition between those two shots.

While a lot of this series feels like slop, it almost feels justified in the sense of being a well-derserved rest for our protagonist.
