Idris is the main character of My Husband's Reversal.
Not gonna lie, I laughed out a petty laugh when I read your response. Maybe that's mean of me, but I agree with you. The artist didn't focus their research in the right era. This appears to be Marie Antoinette's time. Some modernity is fine, but it's important to stay consistent, especially if there is more focus on dresses. It looks like this artist is still inexperienced and doesn't know how to draw clothing or pick harmonious colors.
The corset is awful thing is unfortunately an unfounded rumor that's become widely spread. The truth is that they were fitted to your size and helped your posture. I have no idea why that sort of design is worn on the outside of that scissors dress in that chapter. I felt a little repulsed to see it because that's not how it works. That's not how it works at all. That appears too contemporary, the way modern people wear it today, but her corset design looks like underwear meant to be worn over your shift.
I personally despise the watermelon themed dress she wears in chapter 5 the most. The colors are eye watering, the fade of colors isn't consistent with the folds (was the artist pressed for time?), and I'm not sure what this design is doing in this century. It looks like she went bargain shopping.
