Mielle is already rotten to the core, even if Aria wasn't going through with this revenge, Mille would still find a way to harass and antagonize her out of the simple pretext that she's the daughter of a prostitute. Moreover, seeing as Mielle refused to acknowledge what she was doing until the very end, I doubt no amount of good will would be able to change her. She went as far as to cripple her father to pin it on Aria, ditched Oscar in hopes of gaining the attention of someone more influential, and was quick to abandon Iris if it meant saving her own neck.

Truly, Aria revenge plot was something like the count of monte cristo once everything started to fall into place nearing the end of the novel. Since it all led to Mielle self-destructing.
