The novel goes a bit more in depth when explaining what she is doing in the casino. Since she can only use the hourglass once a day, she found a game that was super high stakes, and based purely on chance. Aria says in the novel that its hard for the casino to rig this card game, but idk how true that holds to irl casinos. So Aria bets all her money/chips on the one card and then peaces out of there, and on the next day she uses her previous winnings to exponentially increase her winnings. When she goes back to the casino after this
she has earned a reputation of being super lucky and gets mobbed by people, i think there might also be people from the casino watching her to make sure she isn't cheating

I also don't think she is worried about getting banned from the casino because
she knows that the casino is going to be forced to closed down in the future anyways (idk if this is actually a spoiler, better safe than sorry)
Also, Aria is planning
on making her fortune from investing in businesses, she just needed to get some starting money to play with.

@yannickq Yeah, I remember there was a scene with Miel and Isis
where they tried to humiliate Aria for her lack of knowledge on the different types of teas, but she cheated them with the hourglass. Isis then noticed that she didn't remember when Aria did pull out the strange hourglass out of her box, but decided not to pay it much attention.

@Althevia @rod10nk From what I understood, her body was trying to catch up with her "actual" age independently of the use of the hourglass, because the first time she activated this power was during her execution in her early twenties. Later on she tells
the Prince that she actually looks her age, because she's 6-7 years older than him due to her time traveling to the past.

Usually the manhwa version loses the "feeling" of the novel, but this is the rare moments where it explains more than the novel version. I don't get how Asher got head over heels for Aria when reading the novel, but I can see it here.

let's assume the first time she bet 20 gold coins and everytime she win, she get 10 time as much. If she bet everyday for 10 days, she will get 20*10^10 gold coins=200 000 000 000 gold coin= 200 billions gold coins... She will be richest noble in less than 2 weeks.

Business:
She won't start a business, she'll invest in one she knows will be successful. (A perfumery.) She'll use the proceeds and connections it brings her to invest in more businesses run by minor nobles or commoners which will make her yet more money.

Poison:
Mielle will skip the mom and try for Aria.
