@qazpalm Why would you need to go more in depth on something that was that obvious? That'd be a waste of panels

@Threee I think the panels show her coming back to the casino on other days rather than representing her playing cards several times in each day, so I think she's still only using the hourglass once in each day

The casino part looks so rushed 🤣
It’s gonna be explained in the next chapter about the times she uses her hourglass but man
Even I will think she used that in one day.

@DragonRider45 No, card counting is a technique used in blackjack where you count the cards to find out which is gonna be the next card, it uses a lot of math.

Truth is Aria checking out game with no winner to insert herself in at the highest payout option (1 card among 52 chance). At the same time she stake all her money in and getting 1:100 return. So she just play one game, multiply her money by 100 and return home to rest. So far only 3 days at the casino.
Honestly, Aria magic cost her one full day at rest, and by now, Aria had completed the test with the hourglass. She do not have much use for it but rather keep it around for emergency situation.

For those who are not sure, Yes, she is abusing the Hourglass every day. She left with the money immediately after 1 game. Rinse and repeat. She never stays at the casino after the first game.

I really wonder if nobody notices the hourglass unless they directly interact with it since she always brings it around.

Also, considering the number of times she used the hourglass just to openly torment Mielle, I think its not really much of a waste plus she hasn't really done it as much as she did for the tormenting part.

@LuminousAzael for me, the pacing was just right. It's not like I'd want to read her going back multiple times or her trying to become all smart or something if its only a game of luck and it's heavily implied that she used the hourglass. Plus there's a huge box near the art that says "the next day" and the artist went through the effort of giving her another outfit (though the red one was only the mask and a hairpiece) for each day. Plus all it matters is she gets the money so I wouldn't mind it rushed unless you want this to become like Ernak and that one other manhua that went into a deep dive on trading (not that I hate them).

Or is it because there was more story for the casino part in the novel that you feel its too rushed?

Loved this chapter. Thank you for the update!

Aria in her going-to-the-casino to get rich though. She's become so pretty! I'm crying because she's truly learned from her past mistakes. I just love her character so much. I love her sass, her wit, how she can also be calculating, clever and shrewd. She isn't trying to be some innocent, pure saint but she also isn't evil, abusive, crude, or tactless.

I hope she does continue down her current path and just brush off the Count and Mielle. They're seriously not worth her time. The right people have recognized her worth anyways and they're definitely on her side now. She just doesn't know it.

For now I think it's better for her to focus on earning money, but I'm worried some annoying spy of Mielle's (that panel of that servant as Aria was leaving is foreboding) will reveal her connections to the casino and damage her reputation. Hope I'm wrong!
