The fact that this got axed is so sad. This was actually a unique premise within the villainous genre as far as how the romance develops and the whole deal with the male lead revealed in the end. You don't really get male leads like this one either, his design was unique. Cute (and handsome) but not like the typical black, white, or blond haired ikemen that are a dime a dozen. I could believe he was unpopular/unimpressive enough as a background character in the female leads gacha game AND that his design somehow just pulled on the female leads heartstrings. I think we;ve all had that experience with a character design we love in a thing but theyre not important so they dont really get any official art or merch lol. This male lead was ready to be devoted to her day 1. His AU self be damned. I LOVED IT.
I feel if there was a part that def tanked the story was the stuff with the prince and the girl that was in love with him. It kinda dragged. I really just wanted more of the female lead and male lead. She was OP and unstoppable, he was cunning, devoted, and would literally go to the end of the universe for her (even if she could do it herself because he still wants to protect and spoil her). We deserved more chapters. We were R O B B E D.
