The uniforms are indeed quite cute, but am I the only one bothered by how short the skirts are? I mean, it's one thing if girls willingly dress like that due to fashion trends and personal preference, but 1) it's in medieval times so uniforms should reflect that time(we see all the other women in all other situations wear long dresses. Why the sudden miniskirts? Makes no sense thematically.) and 2) ...she's 6, as are all the other kids from what I gather. High school I could understand, I suppose(thematically it's still a stretch, though). But they aren't even teens yet and they already pulled out the "skirts so short they have nothing between their rears and the seats they sit on except their underwear"(Page 8, first panel. There is literally nothing between their butts and the seats). At the very least, it would look better if it was a bit longer, like mid thigh as the absolute shortest length(just above the knees would be better imo) and mid calf or upper ankle for the longest. Also, having some variety between different characters would have been good. I'm sure not all of the girls are fine with those super short skirts and at least one girl decided to wear a longer skirt.
Regardless, the uniforms are still cute and I could see the short skirts working elsewhere(like in a Hentai series), but in a medieval setting and for elementary school students such a length doesn't fit all that well.
Edit: Also, I went back to chapter one and noticed that the adult versions of our MC and the Heroine of the game that was shown as what was to come both clearly have longer skirts. Granted, it could be that the high school division allows students to wear whatever they want, but it still doesn't justify why the elementary division has such short skirts if everyone still prefers longer skirts anyway. Logically speaking this would mean that whoever came up with the uniforms would have had longer skirts the norm instead.
