I like how it shows how juxtaposed Hessman is to Mel in which they view children and business in general.

They both know that Children are influenced by the adults around them, however business wise Hessman ideology is one that devours everyone and makes them his by force, and Mel is one that communicates with everyone and offers fair deals(as long as ur not a demon).

Did anyone notice that she has a cash register machine in that panel when she's complaining about no customers? The first cash machine was invented in 1879 by James Ritty and John Birch (I could be wrong), and this one looks like a modern cash register? How does that even work??
