yeah. These types of stories going into that territory is creepy. It makes me wonder about the sensibilites of Asian writers.
Like I get it when it's smut or porn territory but outside of that genre, it feels like a dumb addition to already successful story.
If the story has those undertones at the start it makes sense but weird that it usually is not a phase the children grow out of but become an unhealthy obession.
