I’m disappointed that there was no breaking of mind control and reveal. Obviously it’s still being set up but that made the build up of manipulations feel pointless.

While I like these stories, I'm getting tired of all of them being such money grubbing capitalists. At first she just wanted to live free, now she's influencing international relations to make more money at her store and opening other branches. What ever happened to just living the simple life

To be fair, she kind of had no choice but to build that influence or else she wouldn’t be able to defend herself with all those threats around her (her ex, her stepsister, the pope, etc.). If it wasn’t for that I don’t think she would go as far as doing those things.
