I don't think he is feeling guilt. He is just upset that his childhood friend which he loathes is no longer around to bother him. He most likely will blame her "that's what she gets for misbehaving so much"
everyone hates the ML but, people are forgetting that the FL is not a good person at all. just because she love someone does not justify the way she treats people. i have to admit that she is a boss, but she definitely is not a good person.
