She's a bit more likeable with her thinking and protecting her father's position. It also makes more sense as to why she's being so stubborn about this refusal to sleep.

But at the same time, if she made less of a fuss wouldn't Eon have less reason to hover around her?

She had someone who cared about her and could be trusted, her personal maid. But the "Great Emperor" has thought well to take away the only foothold in her sanity that she has left...

I can't wait - though I feel sorry for Li, who, cruel as she is, has serious mental problems and is a poor victim trying to survive her own madness in every way - that this damn ML finally gets what he deserves and suffers every single moment of his future life.

except, he does end up with her and I hate that....I believe the Manhwa has ended, though it differs from the novel apparently. Li deserves a better person, though she also needs to mature some. But her mental issues make sense given her history.
